Summary: The client wanted to build two new buildings to service their tank cleaning service business. The office was an 8,000sf two storey conventional steel and concrete building and the shop was an 18,000sf pre-engineered building. The shop had a ten meter high free standing masonry fire wall so that sprinklers were not required.

K+S - Drainage Culvert
Summary: Two drainage box for the K+S potash mine in Saskatchewan. The culverts were made with concrete box culverts and supported the spur line to the mine and an access road.

Scope: Overall engineering of the culverts and shop drawing preparation.

First Impression - Mezzanine
Summary: A new steel and concrete mezzanine in an existing industrial bay. Mezzanine added 3700sf of area to the bay and the client intends to use it for storage.

Summary: The client wanted a new 10,000sf shop and office building for their expanding construction business. The building included a 5,000sf two storey office and the whole building was of conventional steel construction.

Summary: A concrete and pile foundation for two 14ft diameter, 50ft high stainless steel storage tanks. The tank legs each required a load cell to determine the level of each tank.

Plaza 50 - Store Front Upgrade
Summary: The client wanted to upgrade an existing 1960's masonry building and make it more contemporary. The masonry blocks were removed and replaced with a glass and steel stud facade. Additional steel bracing had to be added to the building due to the removal of the masonry.

The building included a 10,000sf office and the shop had an overhead crane. The office portion was constructed with conventional structural steel and was clad with metal composite panels. The shop was a pre-engineered building.

Summary: The Double Zero Pizza Chinook location consisted of a 10,000sf tenant improvement and exterior wall replacement. The exterior wall was replaced with composite metal panels supported by steel studs and structural steel.

Bt Construction - Shop
Summary: The client wanted a new 5,000sf shop building for their expanding construction business on their residential acerage. The building included a 1,000sf office and the client wanted an underground tunnel from the shop to their house. The shop was a pre-engineered building and had a full depth basement at one end connected to the tunnel. ICF foam insulating form blocks were used for the foundation and tunnel.

Summary: The office had a unique octagonal shape and comprised of three floors (including the basement) totalling 10,000 square feet. Steel and concrete construction.

Summary: We designed a 7,350sf extension to an existing office building to increase space at the CNRL South Plant control building. The extension was constructed using a pre-engineered metal building on concrete spread footing foundations.
